Inclement Weather & Acts of God PolicyAt Piney Town Playhouse, the safety of our families and staff is always our top priority. While we understand that North Carolina weather can be unpredictable, our indoor facility is typically able to operate during most weather conditions.
Weather-Related Closures or Delays (Venue-Initiated)In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions (including but not limited to snow, ice, flooding, hurricanes, power outages, or unsafe road conditions), Piney Town Playhouse will actively monitor conditions leading up to the event date.
Final decisions regarding closures, delayed openings, or modified operations will be made within 12–24 hours of the scheduled event, based on local conditions, road safety, staffing availability, and guidance from local authorities.
If Piney Town Playhouse determines that it must close or cannot safely host your scheduled event, the party will be rescheduled at no additional charge. The party client will be offered alternative dates within 60 days of the original event date, subject to availability.
